What: Women’s Studies LibGuide

LibGuides are used to curate knowledge and share information via an online guide on a specific topic, subject, course, and process.

How: The purpose of the Women’s Studies LibGuide is to assist students and faculty members of Fayetteville State University in locating relevant library resources for study and research purposes.

Women’s Studies is a relatively broad and interconnected discipline. Various areas of the humanities and social sciences are intertwined with Women’s Studies, as well as with the broader area of Gender Studies. While many institutions provide degrees in Women’s Studies, most provide courses within other academic programs.

A list of current FSU academic departments that tie into and/or may offer Women’s Studies courses: Government and History, English, Criminal Justice, Communication, Psychology, and Sociology.

Who: This LibGuide is maintained by LaTasha R. Jones, University Library Technician (Reference and Interlibrary Loan).
