As Fayetteville State University celebrates its sesquicentennial year, the Charles W. Chesnutt Library re-visits the university’s history with an exhibit sponsored by its Friends group. The rotating exhibit “150 Years of Fayetteville State University with Chesnutt Library” showcases four distinct exhibits:
“Playing Sports: From B to T: Baseball to Tennis”
“Retro Zone: A Look at the Library as Place in Students’ Lives”
“Special Collections Signature Series: Chesnutt, Smith, Seabrook and Jones”
“Stepping Through Time: Student Clubs and Organizations”
The exhibit, which opened on September 18th, is located in the reading area behind the serials and reference departments. The first featured exhibit, located in the lobby area of the library is:

Original photos from the exhibit are taken from University Archives.
